Meet Jess
Welcome, I'm so glad you're here. As a licensed therapist, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, individualized care to those navigating life’s challenges. With a background in palliative care and oncology social work, along with experience in a group psychotherapy practice, I’ve had the privilege of supporting adults through grief, loss, anxiety, medical illness, caregiving, life transitions, and relationship struggles. Drawing on six years of clinical experience, I have a deep understanding of how these stressors can shape our lives and impact our well-being.
In addition to my clinical work, I've completed the Zelda Foster Studies MSW Fellowship in Palliative and End-of-Life Care, which deepened my ability to provide care during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. I have also had the opportunity to lecture on topics such as grief and co-author a chapter in The Practice of Clinical Social Work in Healthcare textbook on supporting individuals living with autoimmune illnesses.
When it comes to therapy, I believe in collaborating with my clients, and building a trusting and open therapeutic relationship is at the heart of our work together. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and tailored specifically to your needs. My goal is not to "fix" you, but to lead with curiosity, helping you gain a deeper understanding of your needs and values, as we explore what you want your life to look like moving forward, or how to pick up the pieces after experiencing something difficult. Therapy with me is a partnership where we collaborate to explore your goals and help you build the life you envision.
If you are seeking a therapist and think we might be a good fit, I invite you to reach out for a free 15 minute consultation when you feel ready. I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your journey.
